Hey,
Saitip is a Thai interdisciplinary artist and artistic researcher whose practice is rooted in handmade processes, material experimentation, and craft-based knowledge. Working across textiles, printmaking, paper, ceramics, and installation, she develops works that explore material sensitivity, tactile engagement, and the transformative potential of making by hand.
Drawing from traditional Thai craft traditions and contemporary artistic research, her practice explores relationships between touch, memory, embodied experience, well-being, and cultural identity. Through sewing, weaving, printmaking, paper construction, sculptural assemblage, and participatory approaches, she investigates how material engagement can create opportunities for sensory experience, reflection, and human connection.
She recently completed her Doctor of Arts in Fine Arts and Conservation at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. Her doctoral research examined sensory touch and material-based artistic practice, with a focus on embodied memory, well-being, and communication through sensory experience.
She has exhibited and developed artistic projects internationally, including in Poland, Norway, Italy, Türkiye, and Thailand. Her current practice continues to explore how material, sensory experience, and cultural knowledge can create new ways of encountering memory and human experience.
